Job Description
As part of temporary staffing services ezelogs.com a construction management software is requesting resumes for Senior Director with the following requirements.
Qualifications
Required: BA or BS degree. Excellent writing skills. Desired (but not required): Law degree (JD) is preferred. Experience in government contracting. Familiarity with FTA procurement procedures and guidance documents, e.g., FTA circular 4220.1F. Familiarity with construction contract.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience practicing law, negotiating contract terms, managing construction, or a related field; or a satisfactory combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
Under general supervision, prepares construction contract and engineering consultant contract terms; revises existing contracts. Prepares and revises existing ancillary documents including scopes of work, instructions for bidders and proposers, and contract schedules and attachments. Logs changes to published documents, the issues addressed, and the locations of the changes in the documents and the dates of published changes. Publishes changes with explanations and commentary for attorneys and contract specialists who will use the new contract terms. Reviews statutes, regulations and other guidance documents issued by federal and state agencies; determines whether a need exists for revisions to contract documents; and drafts responsive contract language. Researches regulations and statutes Reviews legislative bills for impact on agency construction contracting. Proposes agency position on bills that will impact agency contracting. Prepares draft revisions to such bills. Responds to audit findings. Performs analyses and prepares written documents as required
