Job Description
Associate Project Manager III – Mechanical
As part of temporary staffing services ezelogs.com a construction management software is requesting resumes for Associate Project Manager III – Mechanical with the following requirements.
Qualifications
One year of full-time satisfactory experience in supervising employees performing project management work, such as planning, administering, managing , coordinating or expediting, on engineering projects, or supervising a construction project with a value of $1M or more, and either:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in engineering, architecture, and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in project management work, such as planning, administering, managing, coordinating or expediting, for engineering projects; or
- A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and five years of experience as described in ”1” above; or
- A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent plus any combination of college education and/or experience described in “l” above to make up the equivalent of five years of education and experience. One year of experience credit will be given for: (a) each 30 semester credits of college education leading to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration, or public administration; (b) a Master’s degree from an accredited university in one of the disciplines described in ”1″ above; or (c) a valid New York State license as a Professional Engineer, Registered Architect or Registered Landscape Architect.
Assignment Level III – Special Requirements
In addition to meeting the qualification requirements for Assignment Level I, candidates must have at least two additional years of experience as described in “1” above in a supervisory capacity or have served for at least two additional years as a project manager for a large and/or complex construction project.
The consultant shall provide certification of the 30-hour OSHA training from an authorized provider accepted by agency and submit a course completion certificate prior to being hired
Experience
Construction management experience is highly preferred.
Licensing Requirements: A Professional Engineer License and valid NYS Driver’s License are preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge of PC applications. Excellent written and verbal skills. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineer is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Under direct supervision, assist Project Management in the oversight of capital projects. Assists Engineers and Architects in the collection and treatment of data. Prepares reports that monitors the progress of capital projects. Reviews contract drawings and specification prepares daily report, RFI and submittals logs. Assists Project Manager with various paperwork requires in the field. Coordinates with Contractors and Management on various projects. Also assist in coordinating formal responses from the design team. The candidate will also perform other duties as required or assigned by management.
