Job Description
Qualifications Requirements:
1.A masters degree from an accredited college in e nomics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field; or
2.A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience working in one or combination of the following areas: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis. operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, labor relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, or fiscal management; or in a related area.
Special Notes: To be eligible for placement in Assignment Level II, individuals must have, after meeting the minimum requirements, one additional year of professional experience as described in “2” above.
Experience Requirements: A combination of 1-5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: contract facilities management; environmental compliance; fire safety techniques; mechanical/electrical equipment for buildings; facility construction techniques. Familiarity with Agency operations, procurement practices/procedures, purchasing options and knowledge of budget processes. Familiarity with: construction techniques and methodologies; inspections of facilities and critical support equipment and the preparation and revision of technical specifications.
Special Skills/Training Requirements: Strong PC skills, including working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and other related programs. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Description of Work: This employee is responsible for administrating variousmaintenance and repair contracts supporting the Department as well as the preparation of new contracts, administration. field support, project management, and special projects. He/she also perform or-site inspections of facilities to ensure contractor compliance with contrast specifications/procedures, performs due diligence, monitor quality, addresses concerns end maintains consistent follow-up on all outstanding issues„ The employee prepares necessary vendor evaluations and coordinates proposal preparation, develops scopes of work, cost estimates, project schedules, and cost tracking of all projects.
