We are currently looking for APM Level II – Technical Writer.

Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical field such as engineering with a focus on English, writing, or communications ï‚· Experience in creating documentation for audiences with different levels of technical skill ï‚· Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills ï‚· Experience in presenting technical information in a live setting, such as classroom training, presentations, or video conference

Experience Requirements: 5-7 years of experience required

Project Description: Investigation and Remediation of Petroleum-Contaminated Soils and Groundwater at sites (as per the requirements of the General Consent Order negotiated between city agencies)

Licensing Requirements: None

Special Skills/Training Requirements: Experience working with government agencies. ï‚· Ability to analyze and synthesize complex content. Strong technical aptitude, ability to quickly learn new concepts and tools. ï‚· Ability to write clearly and succinctly for multiple audiences using either formal or more casual tones. ï‚· Excellent work ethic and strong intellectual curiosity. ï‚· Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and multi-task. ï‚· Desire and ability to innovate and improve upon current processes. ï‚· Track record of effective collaboration. ï‚· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and proofreading skills is a must ï‚· Strong analytic problem solving and interpersonal skills ï‚· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications including SharePoint, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Other Work Requirements: Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements  Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience  Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities  Create and maintain the information architecture  Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents  Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and nontechnical users  Experience in presenting technical information in a live setting, such as classroom training, presentations, or video conference.
