Job Description
Assistant Transit Management Analyst
As part of temporary staffing services ezelogs.com a construction management software is requesting resumes for Assistant Transit Management Analyst 2 with the following requirements.
Qualifications
A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college in business administration, public policy, transportation planning, urban planning, engineering, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, accounting, or other relevant majors plus 3 years of full time relevant business experience.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of work experience as an office manager, analyst, planner, or project manager. The candidate must be extremely detail oriented with excellent follow up and able to plan and coordinate administrative functions, including scheduling and developing and implementing tracking systems. Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as ability to conduct basic analyses and create presentations. Must be able to liaison with senior managers, consultants, external organizations and Agency executives.
Skills
Ability to act independently with limited supervision and establish and follow up on deadlines involving multiple parties. Office management skills such as letter writing/editing, planning and expediting work flow, and maintaining and following up on action item lists. Ability to create various reports that capture and aggregate critical project status information. Must have excellent written and interpersonal communication and computer (MS Office Suite) skills and be able to prepare PowerPoint presentations and format documents.
Responsibilities
The candidate should demonstrate the ability to expedite tasks and carry out assigned functions (e.g., scheduling, coordination of meetings, ensuring meetings have agendas, following up on critical and routine items, etc.) Provide updates and follow up on project tasks. Maintain, organize files and keep track of important documents. Develop ways to improve workflow for specific projects/initiatives. Coordinate tasks between multiple teams to meet deadlines. Prepare presentation materials for senior management. In addition, the following may also be required:
- Arrange meetings to resolve problems, ascertain progress, and as required juggle and schedule meetings for senior executives
- Serve as back-up for executive assistants
- Attend meetings as necessary
- Perform various document control activities including proofreading, formatting, mail, logs, etc.
- Collect critical information and generate reports reflecting the status of ongoing activities
- Other tasks as determined
