Wage & Hour Rights and Responsibilities
Wage Payment: Employee rights include:- Spend for all earnings made (INFO # 3) at the rate accepted by the company and employee.

Statutes & Rules: DLSS enforces a lot of Colorado’s wage and hour and other kinds of and employment labor rules, including the Colorado Wage Act, the Colorado Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards (” COMPS Order”), and the Equal Spend For employment Equal Work Act. Written Demands, Complaints, & Investigations
Demands & Complaints for Wages: If an employer owes you earnings, you can send your company a written demand for payment of salaries by mail, email, text, or other electronic means. A written demand employment may be sent to the employer at the same time a Labor Standards Complaint Form for unsettled salaries is filed with the Division. The Labor Standards Complaint Form can be found on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements website.
Employer Responses in Investigations: Once a total Labor Standards Complaint Form is received and examined, a letter explaining the nature of the grievance and the quantities declared to be owed is sent to the company. Investigations Launched by the Division (” Direct Investigations”): The Division may carry out employer-wide direct investigations of possible violations of Colorado wage and hour law. If you wish to send a suggestion, please email the Division at cdle_di_tips@state.co.us. If you would like to file a specific claim for unpaid wages, you must complete a Labor Standards Complaint Form on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements webpage. To appeal a direct investigation citation or several Notices of Assessment, a supposed company may send a Direct Investigation Appeal Form.
