As part of temporary staffing services ezelogs.com a construction management software is requesting resumes for Associate Project Manager Level I with the following requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in an engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration or public administration AND one year’s experience
    OR
    · Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent AND five years’ experience
    OR
    · Four-year high school diploma or its equivalent plus any combination of college education and/or experience to make up the equivalent of FIVE YEARS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Experience

  • Experience in project management will be commensurate with level of education (see above).
  • Minimum of one year’s experience having served in a supervisory capacity OR

one year as a project manager for a large and/or complex construction project

  • One year of experience will be given for:

o 30 semester credits of college education leading to a Bachelor’s

o A Master’s degree from one of the disciplines described in above

o A valid New York State license as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect

Skills

  • Code Enforcement or ADA experience
  • Experience with accessible and barrier-free design
  • Fire Department Operations Experience
  • Energy Conservation Experience or Knowledge
  • Building Materials Knowledge
  • Construction Management or Inspection Experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Under direction, candidate will review capital projects in all phases of the project life cycle (pre-design through closeout phases) for compliance with State Fire and Building Codes as well as Federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • Conduct review of project drawings and narratives at Master Plan, Scope of Work and various Design phases for compliance with State Fire and Building codes as well as ADA regulations, and provide comments.
  • Attend design review meetings to ensure ADA regulations are incorporated into project designs.
  • On occasion, conduct construction acceptance and/or maintenance inspections for Fire, Code and ADA inspections for station and facility rehabilitations to ensure compliance with State Fire and Building Codes as well as with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) standards and the contract documents.
